The Padel Federation of Ireland and ForeFront Group Announce First-Ever Padel Irish Open
[June, 2025]. The Padel Federation of Ireland (PFI), in partnership with leading sports event agency ForeFront Group, have announced the launch of the first-ever Padel Irish Open, taking place on 12th - 16th November 2025 at Padel LK in Limerick.
A major milestone for the sport in Ireland, the event has been confirmed as an official stop on the Cupra FIP Tour, the global padel tour sanctioned by the International Padel Federation (FIP). The tournament will bring international ranking points and world-class talent to Irish courts.
“We are proud to launch the Irish Open alongside the World Governing Body of Padel (FIP) and ForeFront,” said Naomi Nicholl, President of the Padel Federation of Ireland. “This landmark tournament at Padel LK will bring some of the world’s top padel players to Irish soil, providing Irish players with a unique opportunity to debut on the global stage, and allowing Irish fans to experience elite-level action up close. This marks a defining moment for Irish padel, reflecting our growing reputation and ambition within the global padel community, and advancing our mission to continue to grow the sport nationwide as both a competitive and community activity.”
ForeFront will promote and lead the event delivery alongside PFI, bringing their expertise in staging premium sports events to ensure a high-impact debut for the Irish Open on the Global padel circuit.

The event will be hosted at Padel LK, Ireland’s largest indoor padel facility, featuring 8 state-of-the-art courts and ready for a tournament of this level.
